Maker Faire Denver Sponsors

Our sponsors are what makes this event possible. It would be impossible for our tiny nonprofit to pay for the facilities, people, and expenses to put this together without these dedicated companies that invest in us each year.

The Make team started us off by hosting me at a producers meeting in January and supporting our efforts throughout. This year, the Denver Office of Economic Development provided us with the deposit for the Mart, enabling us to get started. Sparkfun Electronics then provided a much needed Spark! by sponsoring the Faire and bringing in their AVC and Combat Bots. Epilog Laser has been a sponsor for every one of our Faires since 2013 and they provided the funds to get us through a difficult month in early Spring. Kangaroo Self Storage joined us to store all the supplies, signs, and materials that we keep from Faire to Faire. Clear Blue Engineering is deeply enmeshed in the maker community and joined in as a sponsor and a provider of an exciting laser tag activity.

There was then a disconcerting lag in sponsorships and we began to get worried! But then Comcast joined us for the first time, sponsoring a project to bring in underserved youth to the Faire. Aleph Objects chimed in and we are happy to have their Lulzbot printers back; next was another returning favorite, UNC from Greeley. We were thrilled when Meow Wolf came to Denver and offered to sponsor a number of Denver artists to bring their talents to share. Trimble Inc and Great Scott Gadgets joined in with a desire to host our Friday evening opening maker mixer. And at the final hours, when we were ready to close down space inside the event, Solderworks contacted us and we formed a collaboration to develop several projects over the year together.

Each of these came at a time of great need, and helped us accomplish a goal to bring in new makers, pay needed costs, or provide a special piece of the event. We can’t thank you all enough. Colorado has hosted 7 Mini Maker Faires since 2013, which means we’ve connected more than 700 makers with 25,000 attendees. And this year is going to be even bigger!


We look forward to bringing larger scale exhibits to the Denver Merchandise Mart that are designed to inspire, engage, and awe participants.
