From the Official World HeboCon: “HEBOCON is a robot contest for the technically ungifted. We held the first tournament in Tokyo in July 19,2014.” Learn more about the inaugural events @Hebocon.official on facebook.
Attendees will either bring in their crappy robots made at one of our meetups prior to Maker Faire or they can build one on-site!
Spoons, popsicle sticks, chopsticks? Vegetables yes, and any items, misused toys, materials and junk that makers have lying around the house. The event will provide motors, batteries, holders and switches as basic materials and other kinetic energy generating products such as rubber bands, elastic springs, mousetraps, gravity/ramps, your breath and an array of interesting other materials lying around our houses. YOU Bring the Imagination to make your competition machine as crappy as possible!
We are accepting parts donations NOW! Visit one of your local makerspaces in the Denver area or message us to donate!
