Feature Faire October 14th & 15th

We love exhibits, small and large, that highlight your unique maker process and allow event attendees to interact with both you and your project. The following exhibit ideas are just a few that we’d like to feature this year:

  • Recyled/Upcylced Projects
  • Social Impact Makers
  • Wearable Tech
  • Interactive Art Projects
  • Arduino Projects
  • Raspberry PI Projects
  • Radios
  • Life-sized Video Games
  • Crazy  Conveyances
  • Inventors
  • Tools and Fabrication
  • Mad Scientists

We also encourage workshop leaders and presenters to share How To projects in schedule sessions during the weekend or performers to share their art. It is always free for makers (who are not also vendors) to exhibit at Maker Faire Denver. Makers or commercial businesses who elect to promote or sell their goods will pay a small vendor fee.

We particularly encourage exhibits that are interactive and that highlight the process of making things.

Types of Maker Exhibits

  • Maker booth or exhibit – an exhibit space to display your project(s)
  • Artisan Maker Booth – selling or promoting a handmade/homemade product
  • Commercial Maker booth – a commercial business sharing what they make and promoting or selling a product.
  • Exhibiting Sponsor – companies or organizations that support our community with great exhibits plus funding and/or in-kind contributions.  (see sponsorship opportunities)
  • Workshop, presentation or performance – a workshop or presentation scheduled for our workshop or stage spaces.

The Call for Makers will be open until August and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.  You can apply online here.   We’re looking for a wide range of topics, so participation is not guaranteed.

Makers are encouraged to follow Maker Faire Denver on our Maker Faire Facebook feed to keep up with the latest news on makers and all things Maker Faire.
